WebThis is a list of the currently operational lighthouses of the Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB). The list is divided by geographical location, and then by whether the lighthouses are classed by the NLB as a 'major lighthouse' or a 'minor light'. Former NLB lighthouses now disposed of are not included in the list. WebThere is a beautiful view of the bluffs and the water just a short walk behind the light. From end of May until mid October, the light is open from 10am~5pm, with the last climb being at 4:30pm. There are no restrooms at the actual lighthouse, but there are some at the Highland Museum (just a short walk away).
